Hi, I’m Oyinda Jaja (B.Pharm, MSc Health Sciences, APA) — a licensed pharmacist in Canada and a mom of three. My life sits at the intersection of clinical science and the everyday realities of womanhood and motherhood, and I created this space to thoughtfully bridge the two.
After years of working in healthcare, I recognized something many women experience: there is an abundance of health information available, but not always clarity. Medical language can feel overwhelming, online advice can feel extreme, and knowing what actually applies to you isn’t always straightforward.
Clinical Mama was created to change that.
Here, I translate complex health information into practical, compassionate guidance that women can actually use in everyday life. From understanding medications and supplements to navigating hormones, preventative care, family health, and sustainable wellness habits — my goal is to make evidence-based information feel calm, clear, and empowering.
As a licensed pharmacist practicing in Canada, I have experience in medication education, patient counseling, and evidence-based healthcare. Hence, my training allows me to interpret clinical research, assess medication safety, and provide clear, balanced health information.
But beyond my professional role, I’m also a mom. And like many women, I’ve experienced how overwhelming it can feel to navigate health information while caring for a family — especially when you just want clear, trustworthy answers.
That’s where The Clinical Mama was born.
This space brings together my clinical background and real-life motherhood — translating evidence-based information into practical, reassuring guidance you can actually use in everyday life.
While this platform is educational in nature, my professional foundation informs everything I share — ensuring content is thoughtful, current, and responsible.
Motherhood informs my lens, but this space is for all women.
Whether you are managing medications, considering supplements, seeking preventative health knowledge, or simply wanting to feel more confident in your healthcare conversations, you are welcome here.
Motherhood and womanhood come with enough uncertainty — you don’t have to navigate your health or your family’s health alone.
Inside the Clinical Mama community, you’ll receive calm, evidence-based guidance to help you make confident decisions for yourself and your children — without the overwhelm.
What you’ll get:
